Frequently Asked Questions

For the curious, the cautious, and the “just trying to get through bedtime” crowd.

What is Super Power Family®, and how can it help my family?

Super Power Family is a connection kit — built for real-life families who want more meaning, more laughter, and fewer weird silences over breakfast.
Not a parenting class.

We turn research into real tools:
– Micro-challenges that build better habits
– Reflective games that don’t make you cringe
– Questions that spark “Ohhh…” moments (the good kind)

Backed by psychology, made for parents, and wrapped in playful, purposeful mess.

Couples. New parents. Tired parents.
Families with toddlers, school kids, step-kids, or bonus uncles who only show up with snacks.
If you’re building a life with someone — and want to shape your family story on purpose — you belong here.

A Focus Challenge is a smaller challenge that focuses on one single topic from a real challenge.

For example is “Break the Pattern” a part of the Family Identity Challenge. But it focuses only on family dynamics and patterns.

The challenges are made to be done together. Think of them like a shared playlist for your relationship — meant to be pressed play on as a team.

But hey, if your partner is napping, traveling, or “not really into challenges” right now — you can still start solo and invite them in as you go.

No lectures. No pressure. And no weird cartoon mascots.

Only real stuff:

  • Science-backed insight

  • Hands-on, low-prep activities

  • Reflection that fits into family life (aka chaos)

  • A voice that sounds like a clever, emotionally intelligent friend — not a family therapist on a webinar

Yes. Go fast, go slow, pause when someone gets sick or the dishwasher floods. Pick it back up when the moment’s right. No timers. No guilt.

Nope. If you can scroll, listen, and laugh once in a while — you’re in.
The language is clear. The steps are simple. The reflections are surprisingly deep.

(And yes, everything is in English — so a basic understanding helps.)

You can do everything from your laptop or phone.
But… for full cinematic glory, we recommend casting to a TV with sound. It’s like a date night with less babysitting logistics.

The challenges are built to stand on their own — no hand-holding required.
But if the tech isn’t cooperating, or you accidentally click into the abyss, email us at support@spofamily.com and we’ll try to sort it out.

How long time does it take to complete a challenge?

Challenge duration depends completely on how much effort you put into it. To get the most out of the courses, here are a few advices and recommendations to keep in mind:

Take one step at a time:

– Watch the videos, take the quizzes and share reflections betweeen you and your partner
– Complete all steps one by one to complete the challenge
Understand the learnings of the challenge
– Understand how the learnings can be applied to your family life
– Spend time together when making the hands-on activity. Reflect on the learnings
Implement your learnings in daily life
– Follow the changes.
– Keep the good patterns. Break the bad patterns.

Completing a challenge can take everything from 1 evening to 1 month to several years, well…. to a lifetime.

We recommend one week for the challenge itself and at least two weeks between each course (preferably more). This is to ensure sustainment of your learnings.

Please refer to our Learning Principles to see the reasoning behind the above recommendations.
